Jardine Station is a family operated working cattle station along the banks of the Einasleigh River, Einasleigh Nth Qld.
Camping is on the Historic Jardine Lagoon and the Einasleigh River.
Located on the Gregory Developmental Road 20kms Nth of Einasleigh township and 25kms Sth from the Gulf Developmental Road.

Jardine Lagoon Camp
Jardine Lagoon Camp is situated at the historical Jardine Lagoon. Open flat area easily accessed off the main road.
The Beach
The Beach is on the banks of the Einasleigh River. Shady camping spots lead onto sandy banks down to the waters edge.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Davis & staff without reservation. You should know that I’m a “dental coward” and have had anxiety about going to the dentist my entire life. That all ended 10 years ago when I started going to Dr. Davis. I don’t have the slightest apprehension about my checkups or treatments anymore. Thank you so much!

Einasleigh township is 20kms Sth (about 30mins drive). A small town full of mining and cattle history.
There is a post office and a historical Pub providing cold beer and meals and of coarse local insight.
The gorgeous Copperfield Gorge is across the road from the pub and definitely worth a visit. Formed from larva flow, the Copperfield River has carved out its path creating an idyllic oasis. Great for a swim and a fish.
Undara Lava Tubes are about 1 ½ hrs to the nth and Cobbold Gorge is 2hrs to the sth.
Mt Surprise township is 1hr NTH EST, Georgetown is 1hr NTH WST.

Bookings are not essential but are appreciated so we know you are here. Please call or email, message. Phones are not manned all the time but leave a message and we will get back to you. If you cannot get a hold of us, we do allow campers to just come in and find a spot at the 3 camp areas. There are instructions at the toilet block at Lagoon Camp.
Cash only accepted and will be collected of an afternoon at your camp site. If in unforeseen circumstances, we do not see you while you are here there is an honesty box at the toilet block at Lagoon Camp. We appreciate your honesty.
Pets are welcome but must be controlled at all times, with consideration for other campers, cattle and native animals.
No quad bikes or buggies are allowed due to insurance and cattle.
No shooting on property.

Generators are allowed but consideration to other campers is a requirement. Please don’t have your generator running all the time and not next to campers that don’t use them. Everyone is here to experience the peace and quiet of the bush. .

There is no mobile service on the property. Einasleigh township is the closest mobile service, 20 kms Sth.
